Gila Valley Temple

On May 8, 2010, we attended the Gila Valley Temple open house in Central, Arizona. We are so excited to witness the building of another temple, especially in the good old Gila Valley, where Eileen and her sisters grew up. We were thrilled to hear that it would be built in Central on the same softball fields that we played on when we were young women there. The Gila Valley is a special place and our grandparents and great grandparents and ancestors were among the early settlers there. Grandma Inez and Grandpa Leland Carpenter were cotton farmers in Eden all their lives. We know they are all rejoicing in the heavens above at this temple being built there.

Stefanie and Mike now know that a boy is on the way in late August. We will have fun letting a boy be babied by two big sisters.

Hole in the Rock Hike

President's day weekend family hike to Hole in the Rock. The kids had fun and turned into little mountain goats hiking all over the rocky terrain.

The cousins had so much fun at the lake together.Autumn's new trick is taking her feet out of the bindings and stands on one foot!summer literally skiied for an hour one day!I enjoyed Wake boarding and the water was even nice enough for me to kick off my skiis and Barefoot.
